Rating by category:
Excellent position. Very close to main tourist attractions like Aya Sophia, Topkapi etc It is nice and clean. The restaurant on the terrace has one of the most beautiful views on the old city. However, the rooms could have been a little bigger, hardly any space to put away suitcases. The beds are two small for tall people ( more than 1.80m and taller)
Close proximity to key historical sights. Easy access to walk or take the "tram" to a variety of places. Great view from our window of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Quiet. The hotel reception asked us in advance if we would like transportation to and from the airport--that made things easy. Nice touch.
Bed was not as comfortable for us as we had hoped.
Breakfast is relatively ordinal but the location is nice to be able to view the sea and city.
Need daily manitenance work to maintain a good condition of each room.
Baaaaaaaaaaaaaad a/c I complained 3 times to repair the a/c but no responce others are ok
Thank`s for friendly staff and shef-cooker... During staying in the hotel I had some problems with my health and asked for special menu. Thanks a lot for being healpful!!!! The location is perfect and the view from restaurant where we had breakfast was fantastic!!!
friendly staff, beautiful view from the restaurant, cleanliness in the rooms, the best location for a city tour...
It was a great location and the guide Serap was wonderful.
The rooms were very comfortable and the location was great!
Matress, shower, Diner options in The restaurant.
We really liked that the hotel was so convenient to all the sites of Istanbul. There was no need to rent a car as absolutely everything we wanted to do (all the major sites) were within walking distance. The restaurants were all very close from our hotel. We had a spectacular view from our window of the Blue Mosque and the Hajai Sophia. We also had a very nice breakfast each day in the rooftop restaurant. The manager planned a walking tour of the city our second day there and the guide was excellent. There was no charge for this tour. We were very impressed.
The room was very warm even with the air conditioning. At night we had to open the window to get breeze and were attacked by mosquitoes. We are still nursing our bites! Also there had been water damage on the ceiling. We would hear plumbing sounds in the night and worried we may be flooded. Thought there would be a gym but it was not open.
The hotel had a good view over the two important mosques in Istanbul, the Blue Mosque and Ayasofya Mosque. Also, the room had plenty of space. The restaurant hotel personnel was very helpful and kind.
The air conditioning system did not work and one of the receptionists was not very friendly to the clients. The furniture was pretty old and the room had no coffee/tea-maker. Also, the TV was not very functional.
location nice to see the old city
breakfast s....ks turn off the a/C at night in heavy weather
old design but very clean nice view breakfast on the topfloor fancy and romantic.
the carpet old need changing
Very close to blue Mosque and other tourist attractions. Great location! Staff are helpful and friendly
The staff looking after the breakfast were disorganized. Breakfast range was good. Room was quite small.
Perfect location, good atmosphere, very nice views,
Staff was efficient and courteous.....however the beds need definately improvement...the mattresses felt like they had been used by very heavy overweight people with a definate hole in the middle. We stayed in room 401 which sizewise was ok but had very few hangers for hanging clothes.
New mattresses absolutely necessary... they should also provide a little more light in the corridors of the hotel... it was almost pitch dark and one had difficulties to insert card to open room doors.
